Florida State Parks Bill

During August of 2024 Floridians were ambushed by plans that nine Florida state parks had planned developments.  Members of Floridians Advancing Florida’s Outdoors organized demonstrations, provided round the clock information updates, and promoted efforts to contact elected officials.  Effective coordination with other groups and thousands of concerned citizens resulted in the plans being withdrawn after a week.
